AI Limitations & User Responsibility:

The AI features in Yogen may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or fabricated information (sometimes called “hallucinations”). All AI-generated content - including interview questions, job descriptions, boolean searches, and feedback - should be reviewed and validated before use. Yogen provides recommendations and features to ease your workload, but you are responsible for:

  • Verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of all AI-generated content
  • Deciding who to share AI-generated information with outside of authorized users within your organization
  • Determining where and how any information from Yogen is shared publicly or externally
  • Ensuring all content complies with your company’s policies and applicable laws

Yogen is a tool to support your hiring process, not a replacement for human judgment and decision-making.

About our AI providers: Yogen services may use AI models from Meta, Google, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Perplexity, and other language models as required. The specific providers and models we use may change over time as we optimize our services.

Data retention: We retain your data and usage history indefinitely to maintain and improve our services.

**Training on data & third-party processing: **When your data is sent to third-party AI providers, it may be processed on servers in different countries and may be used by those providers to train their AI models. We do not control these providers’ data handling practices or policies. In the future, Yogen may also use your data to train our own models to improve our services.

Sensitive Data: Using Yogen requires the user to provide data about their current processes and details of future hires they want to make. This information will be sent to large language models created from Meta, Google, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Perplexity and others in order to synthesize the content and provide Yogen’s features. By using Yogen, you agree that this information is shared with third-parties, that AI models may be trained on this data in aggregate, and that you have authorization to provide this information.

Candidate Personal Information: Yogen is designed to work alongside your existing applicant tracking system (ATS) and other HR tools. Do not enter personal information about real candidates into Yogen. This includes names, contact information, resumes, or any other personally identifiable information (PII) about job applicants. Our training features use simulated candidates only - practice interviews and difficult conversations should never involve real candidate data.

User Information: We collect basic information about our users, including your name, email address, role, and company name to provide and improve our services. This information is subject to the data handling practices described on this page.

New AI features: As we develop new AI-powered features, they will follow the data handling practices described on this page. New features will be clearly marked with a star icon within Yogen, so you can make an informed decision to use the AI feature. We will update this page to reflect new features, but will only send policy update notifications if there are material changes to how we handle your data.
